Fishing is often done early in the morning, so it’s no surprise than anglers are looking for new ways to bring coffee along with them.
Clarity and focus is required when fishing and the energy boost from coffee can push you through a long day of fishing.
While you won’t be able to use a French press while fishing, here are some good ways to bring coffee with you when fishing.
If you’re bringing a cooler, cold brew is the easiest way to bring coffee with you.
Cold brew is extremely strong. Some of the most popular cold brew options are:
Super Coffee contains both protein and fats, which is known as bulletproof coffee. This blend is supposed to give you energy with the healthy fats plus the caffeine from the coffee.
Chameleon Cold Brew is a coffee company based in Austin, Texas (Lake Travis has great fishing!).
They have five flavors: Mexican, Mocha, Pecan, Espresso and Black.
Funny enough, High Brew is also based in Austin, Texas. They have six different flavors: Double Espresso, Black and Bold, Creamy + Protein, Mexican Vanilla, Dark Chocolate Mocha and Salted Caramel.
Make it Hot
If you like fresh coffee, then bring some instant coffee. You can pair instant coffee with a camping stove to boil water and make fresh coffee on the go. Also be sure to bring sugar and cream, if you have a cooler.
Bring it in a Thermos
You can also make hot coffee in the morning and bring it in a thermos. A good one should keep the coffee hot (or cold) long enough for you to enjoy it hours into your day of fishing.
Best of luck, and catch something big!
