Coffee Bar Won’t Stop Beeping?

Try these 3 common solutions if your coffee bar won’t stop beeping: 

1. Keep an Ear Out for 5 Beeps

If your machine keeps beeping, listen for 5 consecutive beeps. Your machine is programmed to beep five times when it needs to be fixed. Your coffee bar may be trying to communicate that some of its settings are not installed properly. More often than not, these 5 beeps are signaling that your drip stop, brew basket, or water tank needs to be adjusted before the machine can resume working.

2. Secure the Brew Basket

One reason your appliance might be beeping is that your brew basket – where you place your coffee – is not secured in place. To make sure it’s properly installed, push the basket as far into the ninja bar as it can go. You’ll know that you’ve pushed it far enough when the edges of the basket are flush with the machine.

4. Open the Drip Stop

Another common reason for beeping is your drip-stop might be closed, which essentially blocks coffee from being dispensed. What you’ll want to do is open your drip stop, located beneath the brew basket, as wide as it can open by switching it to the side. If the beeping has stopped, you should now be able to brew your coffee! 

Does Your Machine Keep Shutting Down?

If your machine keeps shutting down, try the following steps to resolve the issue.

1. Make Sure Your Machine is Plugged In

To make sure your machine is on, look out for your Ninja Coffee Bar’s indicator light. If this light isn’t lit, you’ll want to make sure your appliance is plugged into a wall socket that is working. 

• If your machine is plugged in, but the indicator light is still unlit, be sure the power to that specific outlet is turned on.
• If you’ve tried the aforementioned steps and your machine still isn’t powering on, try pressing the reset button on your wall socket, if available.
  

2. Fill the Water Tank

If your machine is turning off in the middle of brewing or not powering on at all, a reason for this could be that the water reservoir doesn’t have enough water in it to produce the coffee. To resolve this, pour water into your Ninja Coffee Bar’s tank until it reaches the fill line. Try not to fill it past this line, as that could result in leaking.

3. Select the Proper Brew Size

Did your machine power down before your coffee cup was filled? The reason for this could be that you selected a brew size that was smaller than the amount you needed. The Ninja Coffee Bar offers several brew sizes to accommodate different needs and cup sizes. So, when you’re ready to have your coffee, just be sure you select the size you want to be poured into your cup or thermos. As an example, an Over-Ice brew size will dispense less coffee than a Classic Brew size because it accounts for the ice in your cup.
