FRIGIDAIRE has been a reputable brand of appliances since the early 1900s. At one point, this company was so well- known as refrigerator makers that Americans called the fridge a “Frigidaire”! Luckily for us all, refrigerators are not the only household appliances they make. In fact, they offer quality small appliances as well.

Enter the Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine.

We recently had the opportunity to review the FRIGIDAIRE ECMN103 and are excited to share what we found. Keep reading to learn just what makes this espresso machine stand out from the others!

The FRIGIDAIRE Dolce Gusto coffee maker is for anyone who wants to make delicious espresso with the click of a button. If you only drink coffee every so often or are a beginner in the world of coffee this may be the appliance you’ve been looking for. Better yet, it’s priced under $100.

However, if you are an experienced home barista that craves the ability to inject, foam, or get fancy with your heating, you may prefer a machine with more bells and whistles (like the NESCAFE Majesto)

What Makes This Dolce Gusto Machine Special?

The FRIGIDAIRE Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine truly stands out from the rest in terms of versatility and power. Capsule and ground coffee compatible, it can make the perfect cup of espresso whether you want the control of your own ground beans or wish to use your favorite flavor pod.

Are you a Nespresso fan? Maybe you prefer Dolce Gusto? Or perhaps you like simple ground coffee. This small machine does it all! Compatible with Nespresso or Dolce Gusto pods, you’ll easily be able to change out the included adaptors to accommodate your (or anyone in your household or office) preferences.

We think it goes without saying, but we will say it anyways – having this adaptability is not the standard in your average espresso maker, so FRIGIDAIRE really hit it out of the park with this feature. We love how versatile the FRIGIDAIRE ECMN 103 is and a main reason we recommend it.

Why Should I Buy This Dolce Gusto Machine?

In addition to the versatility offered in this multi-capsule machine, we also love the power of the 19 bar pressure pump of this machine. You’ll find that you have multiple size options of brews as well, making pretty much any espresso-based drink you can think of possible.

We loved the ease of use of the FRIGIDAIRE ECMN 103 Dulce Gusto machine. Lightweight and compact, it is super portable and allows for fast and simple cleaning. The water reservoir is easily removable in order to be filled in a sink. The included descaling water pump helps combat hard water, lengthening the life of your appliance and ensuring optimal taste.

This coffee maker also comes equipped with a removable drip tray. This feature is here in case of those accidental spills. Best of all – all pieces, including the multiple adaptors, are able to be removed and washed without too much effort.

Our Verdict

One of the best parts of this FRIGIDAIRE coffee maker? The affordable price! And with an included 1-year warranty, there’s no reason why this isn’t a home run for quick brew, capsule-adaptable, reliably made espresso machine. All that’s left is trying it for yourself!
