What sets the Sette 270 from the competition is its unique design. The gear system offers very little grind retention and amazing grinding accuracy. We were amazed at how easily the grinds fell out. We removed the burr setting, and a sprinkle of coffee grounds fell out. There were no grinds stuck in internal passages, making the cleanup process a breeze. 

The Sette 270 features a gearbox and burrset where the outer burr rotates around the stationary cone burr. This allows for very high-speed grinding without burning the coffee! You’re looking at about 5 grams per second. Pair this with minimal retention, and our team was blown out of the water.

• – Complete Control. Who doesn’t want complete control of their coffee? This grinder offers a total of 30 settings ranging from fine to coarse. We found the finest grind to be powdery while the coarsest one fell out at an even, uniformed consistency.
• – Minimal Retention. Your coffee will fall effortlessly from the burrs into your portafilter or grounds bin. We noticed little to no retention once you remove the burr setting.
• – Convertible Convenience. The built-in adjustable arms can be positioned by pushing them in or out. Then, simply place the portafilter onto the arms and enjoy hands-free grinding. It can support a wide range of portafilters and brewing devices like the Chemex, Hario V60, Aeropress, and some drip brewers.
• – Easy to Clean. When you’re done using, all you need to do is completely remove the hopper and take the burr setting out. To remove, rotate until it matches the blue arrow, and pull down. The main thing you’ll have to do to clean it is brush off any coffee residue.
